The Complete Kids Eat Free Guide for Summer 2026

Six weeks of summer holidays, thousands of pounds to find. One of the easiest ways to keep the cost down? Kids Eat Free deals. (Also check my guides on surviving summer on a budget and free activities.) Every major chain in the UK runs them during the school holidays, and the savings add up fast.

This page covers every kids eat free offer available during the summer 2026 holidays—including restaurants, pubs, cafés, supermarkets, and hotels. Updated throughout July to reflect live offers and terms.

How to use these deals

Three things to check before heading out:

1. Participating locations. Most offers run nationwide, but some restaurants only participate in certain areas. Check their website or call ahead if you’re unsure.

2. App or loyalty requirement. Many chains require you to download their app, join their loyalty scheme, or show a specific coupon code. It’s free and takes two minutes—do it before you go so you’re not fumbling with downloads on arrival.

3. Adult meal requirement. The vast majority require a paying adult meal. A few (like Asda Café and Morrisons Café) let kids eat free without an adult order, but these are the exception.

Supermarket cafés: the easiest wins

Asda Café
Kids eat for £1 all day, every day—no adult spend required. Meals come with a free piece of fruit and a free Ella’s Kitchen pouch for babies under 18 months. Simple.

Morrisons Café
Kids eat free all day, every day with any adult meal over £4.50. This is one of the few places where the deal is straightforward and year-round.

Sainsbury’s Café
One child’s hot meal or lunch bag for £1 with any adult main over £5.20. Available from 11:30am every day.

Restaurant chains: bigger savings

ASK Italian
Up to two kids eat free every day from 17 July to 6 September when an adult buys a main course. Must download the ASK Perks rewards app to claim. Kids choose from the full kids’ menu.

Bella Italia
Free three-course kids’ meal with a paying adult main (Sunday–Thursday only). Offer runs 20 July – 1 September. The three courses are a proper meal—starter, main, and dessert—so it’s a significant saving.

Zizzi
Free three-course Bambini meal for kids with every adult main course (20 July – 1 September). Must be a member of the free Zillionaires’ Club loyalty scheme. Download the app and you’re in.

Frankie & Benny’s
Kids eat free during the summer holidays when an adult orders a main. One of the few places that doesn’t require an app or loyalty scheme sign-up, which is a bonus.

Pizza Hut
Children eat free when an adult buys a main (summer holidays only). Check with your local branch for exact dates, as they vary slightly by location.

Burger King
One free King Jr. Meal or Whopper Jr. Meal with every adult burger meal (23 July – 31 August). Must claim via the Burger King app.

YO! Sushi
Kids eat free all day Monday–Friday during school holidays (with a minimum £10 adult spend). Weekends are normal price, so plan around school days for the best savings.

Breakfast deals and pubs

Brewers Fayre & Beefeater
Two kids under 16 eat free unlimited breakfast with one paying adult breakfast. Available year-round at breakfast time, so this works even outside school holidays if you’re an early riser.

Whitbread Inns
Two kids under 16 eat free breakfast with one £9.50 adult breakfast. Works at most Whitbread-branded pubs and inns across the UK.

BrewDog
One child eats free with every paying adult ordering a main meal (until 31 August). Available at participating locations.

Sizzling Pubs
Kids eat for £1 Monday–Friday 3–7pm with an adult main meal (summer holidays). Great for a late lunch or early tea.

Specialist restaurants

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants
Kids under 8 eat free all day, every day with a paying adult a la carte meal. If you’re treating the family to somewhere special, this is worth considering.

Las Iguanas
Kids under 12 eat free (main, two sides, dessert) with every adult main course. Download their app to claim the offer.

Banana Tree
One free kids’ meal (main, drink, dessert) with every adult main course (20 July – 1 September).

Family hotels and garden centres

Village Hotels
One child eats free from the kids’ menu Monday–Friday with an adult main course (20 July – 4 September). Book through the Village Rewards app.

IKEA
Kids meals from 85p daily after 11am, or kids’ pasta with tomato sauce, drink, and fruit for just 45p on Fridays.

Dobbies Garden Centres
Children get a hot meal for 88p with any adult main course (25 June – 1 September). Free child’s drink included.

Some final tips

Download the apps before you go—it takes two minutes and prevents delay at the till. Some offers have time restrictions (like Café Rouge’s 12–4pm window), so check before you travel. And remember: most deals require a paying adult main meal. A kids’ meal on its own won’t unlock the offer, even if it says “kids eat free.”

With this list, you can keep your summer meal costs genuinely low. Mix supermarket cafés (Asda, Morrisons) with restaurant chains (ASK Italian, Zizzi, Bella Italia) and you can eat out multiple times a week without breaking the bank.
